Everest Region is very famous trekking region in Nepal. Thousands of trekkers all around the world go for trekking in Everest. Everest region is also known as Khumbu. Sagarmatha is the Nepali name of Mount Everest. Beside trekking, Everest area is also famous for expedition (mountain climbing) and peaks climbing because the are many mountains and peaks.

There are two options to go to Everest region trekking. Flight from Kathmandu to Lukla is very short option because it is around 25 minutes flight. Second option is the drive from Kathmandu to Salleri or Jiri. On the trekkers demand, the trekking packages can be customized from 5 days to 35 days for trekking in Everest area. Everest View Trek which can be done in 5 days, similarly the very famous trekking packages are Everest Base Camp Trek – 13 days, Everest Base Camp Trek via Cho La Pass – 20 Days, Everest Three High Pass Trek – 21 Days etc. Similarly, Jiri Everest Base Camp Jiri (or some people out from Lukla as well) is also very popular among the trekkers.
