Visit Nepal 2020

Visit Nepal 2020 – With W Adventures

Nepal is waiting for welcoming Visit Nepal 2020, which is pretty soon coming at our door. It’s primary concern is to grow the Nepalese tourism, so in 2015 Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) had introduced Visit Nepal 2020 event. Nepalese people, Nepal government and tourism entrepreneurs are organizing several events so that they can attract many tourists to come in Nepal. They have the vision that by 2020 they would be able to welcome more than 2 millions foreigners.
With the reference to the Nepal Tourism Board, 940,218 tourist visited Nepal in 2017 and it rose by 1,173,072 in the next year 2018. The people from all around the world visit Nepal but India and China accounts the majority of visitors. Similarly, the country has given priority to the Neighbor-First Policy and sent several tourism experts to promote Nepalese Tourism. Likewise, visa fee for Chinese nationalities is also waived (form 2016) in order to attract more and more Chinese to visit in Nepal.
Tribhuvan International Airport is only international airport in Nepal and recently Gautam Buddha International Airport is under construction and aimed that it will be in operation by the end of 2019. It is very good news and anticipated that Nepal could easily bring many foreigners by air. For their staying several hotels (big and small) are opened and homestay facility is also available in countrysides.
There are several challenges for Nepal Government and they are changing policy to adopt worldwide trend. On the other hand, it is time to think out of the box and focus on the other form of tourism like MICE, sport tourism, gastronomic tourism, local sports tourism etc. According to the travelers age, sex, interest, geographical features etc. destination market strategies need to be formed.

What W Adventures is doing?

W Adventures is also very much more concern about Visit Nepal 2020 program and have come with the new plans and events. We are doing research on some beautiful but isolated places and promoting then among our people. Recently, the staying of foreigners in Nepal is short and we are focusing on how we could make their stay longer. We take the people in those places where they have never been e.g. rural country side, taste the local foods which they have never tried, meet the local people and engage with them, interaction with the local scholars which could broaden the knowledge and many more.
For more our plans and programs, please write us a mail, we will let you know.
